HKU Journalism taught me how to be a force for good in a professional way. As an emerging young journalist passionate about social justice and public service, journalistic professionalism is crucial to report compelling stories with strict ethics and integrity in the chaotic and controversial world. Reporting and Writing is the most fundamental course but also guides me to go far. Besides, our program provides courses beyond writing China-focused news, including Reporting Global Affairs, Data Journalism and Backpack Journalism.
