The Journalism and Media Studies Centre requires students to earn academic credits by working in a media internship. Over the years, this has led to an internship network with dozens of local, regional and international media partners that has enabled students to gain valuable on-the-job experience. In some cases, the internships have led to full-time jobs.
Our internship partners include:
Overseas media: Agence France-Presse (Seoul/Tokyo), NBC (London), Malaysiakini.com (Kuala Lumpur), Rappler (Manila), ABC Fact Check (Melbourne), Nepali Times (Kathmandu), Al Jazeera (Kuala Lumpur), Frontier Myanmar and Mizzima (Yangon), The News Lens (Taipei).
