JMSC To Provide Real-Time Coverage of AAJA Conference

JMSC MJs will provide live coverage of the Asian American Journalists Association’s (AAJA) inaugural Asia regional conference at HKU on June 11.

Their reports will appear on http://jmsc.hku.hk/sites/jmsc-aaja/

The volunteers will video-stream the conference live, tweet the highlights (hashtag #aajahk) and provide written reports of the one-day event. Photo-journalists will post to the JMSC’s Flickr group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/1708722@N21/.

Observing the team in action will be professors and students from the Centre for Information Technology in Education at HKU’s Faculty of Education seeking inspiration for covering their own conference next month.

JMSC tutor Kevin Lau and Senior Teaching Consultant Diane Stormont will be on hand to provide advice and guidance.
