JMSC director Ruby Yang welcomed a delegation from Nanjing University: Ms Zhu Jiangli, deputy dean of the School of Journalism and Communication; Ji Xiaomin, director of students affairs; and Wang Xiao, assistant professor. During the visit, the JMSC and Nanjing University signed a memorandum of understanding. Under the MOU, the two schools will collaborate in student exchanges, summer workshops, joint research programmes and seminars, and academic staff exchanges.

JMSC lecturer and award-winning filmmaker Uli Gaulke’s latest documentary, "Century of Women", will premiere at more than 70 theaters in 50 cities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland on March 7, the eve of International Women’s day.

Celebrate HKU Alumni Day by joining us on March 16 for a JMSC career talk session. Our outstanding alumni, Kane Wu (MJ 2009), and Robin Pang (BJ 2008), will be sharing their experiences and insights on career prospects for recent graduates.
