Hui Siu Fun, a 2011 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, is a veteran journalist with decades of experience in the local Hong Kong media industry. 

She specialises in writing feature stories and producing news documentaries. In the early stages of her career, she participated as a reporter in the launch of both the Cable TV news channel and Apple Daily. Later, she switched to TV news documentary production and served in the Public Affairs Division at TVB news department for 13 years. In 2016, she founded Now Report — or 經緯線 — a half-hour documentary programme at Now TV.

Siu Fun has won multiple local and international awards, including the Peabody Award (Winner), the Asian Television Award (Best News Documentary), New York TV & Film Festival Awards, the Edward R. Murrow Award (Regional: Best News Documentary), and several International Human Rights Press Awards (First Prizes).
