AJ Libunao is an American multimedia producer based in Hong Kong. His work has been published by organizations such as Asia Sentinel, Yahoo! News, the South China Morning Post, Austrian newspaper Wiener Zeitung and The Caravan. 

He teaches online journalism, photography and video news production courses. 

He is also the editor of the Proudly Asian podcast, a podcast series that tells stories of the struggles and challenges of Asians around the world.

He holds a master’s degree in multimedia and entertainment technology from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a bachelor’s degree in studio art from the University of California, Irvine.
