Oct 7: Screening of Award Winning Doc – Inside Job

The JMSC will screen the award winning documentary Inside Job on Friday, October 7, 2011.

Inside Job won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

It looks at the shocking truth behind the global economic crisis of 2008 and how it ended up costing tens of millions of people their savings, their jobs and their homes.

Through extensive research and interviews with major financial insiders, politicians and journalists, the documentary unveils the corrosive relationships among politicians, bankers and academia. Narrated by Academy Award winner Matt Damon, it was made on location in the United States, Iceland, England, France, Singapore, and China.

The film is a sober reminder of the rouge state of the US finance industry as the Occupy Wall Street protest is drawing world wide attention.

“A crime story like no other in history” – David Germain, Associated Press
