July 25: Author of You Can Write Better English to Address HK Book Fair

JMSC Honorary Lecturer, Barry Kalb, will speak at the Hong Kong Book Fair on Monday, July 25, 2011.

He will host a talk at the New Book Release Presentation of the fair 2011 to discuss the poor grasp of English by many in Hong Kong and what is needed to rectify it.

Kalb is the author of the recently published You Can Write Better English.

“It‘s a no-nonsense, practical, direct guide to writing good English that’s full of good examples,” said Professor Ying Chan, Director of Journalism and Media Studies Centre of Kalb’s book.

“It’s a book that you can keep on your desk and revisit again and again.”
