- Gordon Mathews, Professor, Chinese University of Hong Kong and author of Ghetto at the Center of the World: Chungking Mansions
- Carlos Douh: Teaches the latest Cantonese slang on YouTube to English speakers
- Sky Canaves: Honorary Lecturer at Journalism and Media Studies Centre, former reporter with The Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong and Beijing
