Bin Chen is Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong’s Journalism and Media Studies Centre. His research interests include computational social science, digital media and politics, social and political implications of emerging technologies, and comparative media studies.

Bin received his PhD in journalism and media from the University of Texas at Austin, where he also earned an MSc in statistics and data science.
