Documentary Sales Specialist

Aleksandar Govedarica is a Sarajevo-born film producer. He has produced two documentary films — Giants and the Morning After (2018) and Blix Not Bombs (2023) — and has experience in all aspects of filmmaking including directing. Alexander started working as a film programmer at Kriterion Sarajevo, the only art house cinema in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was part of the organising committee of the Serbian Film Festival in Vancouver. After three years of experience in sales and distribution, Aleksandar founded the Toronto-based world sales and production company Syndicado in 2016. He is also tutoring at workshops like Doc Incubator, Baltic Sea Docs and Duna Dock. He graduated from the University of East Sarajevo and Vancouver Film School.
