The intensive, one-year MJ program fundamentally reshaped my professional perspective, bridging my personal experiences with a broader global outlook. Through hands-on projects and various internships, I gained the practical skillset to thrive in a dynamic newsroom.

Beyond learning from incredibly talented peers, I also built connections with seasoned reporters in Hong Kong, many of whom are JMSC alumni themselves. The professors and staff went beyond teaching, they offered unwavering guidance and encouragement, making this fast-paced city truly feel like home to me.

Lexi built a diverse media portfolio during her time at HKU, garnering experience through roles at NBC News, CNA, and Phoenix TV. She is currently a reporter at Now TV News, putting her news-gathering prowess into practice.
