JMSC Partners with Roots and Shoots Malaysia on AI-generated PSA

The JMSC extends its thanks to Roots & Shoots Malaysia for our collaboration on an AI-generated PSA to combat the illegal international gibbon pet trade. Special recognition goes to Uli Gaulke for his exceptional work as Creative AI Director and to Ruby Yang for her guidance as Creative Advisor.
Special thanks to photographer Mr. Peter Ong for sharing his incredible portfolio of gibbons in their natural habitat to create these AI-generated videos.

"As a filmmaker, I am keenly watching what is possible with AI… so when Oscar winner Ruby Yang asked me if we could work together on an AI-generated Public Service Announcement, it was easy to say yes. So here it is, a short video against illegal wildlife poaching, using 2D photos by Peter Ong of gibbons," Mr. Tee Pee shared.

"I firmly believe that AI-generated videos have great potential for positive impact, especially in education and public service initiatives," JMSC Director Professor Ruby Yang noted.
