JMSC Alumni Earns Success at Hong Kong News Awards 2024

Congratulations to Harvey Kong (BJ 2021), Sammy Heung (BJ 2021), Salina Li (BJ 2022), and Connor Mycroft (MJ 2022) for their success at the Hong Kong News Awards 2024.

Kong took home the third prize in the category of Best News Writing (English) for his story on Hong Kong youth taking up the trend of "slashing"

Heung claimed third place in the category of Best Science News Reporting with a five-story series on the city's innovative scientists.

Li's investigations on Hong Kong’s property crisis earned a merit award in the Best Business News Reporting category.

Mycroft won the merit award in Best News Reporting with his series on Article 23.
