About
This is the course blog for the Internet Strategy for News Organizations professional summer course, taught at the Journalism and Media Studies Center at the University of Hong Kong, June 2010.
The purpose is to get working journalists and media professionals up to speed, as much as possible, with the fast-changing world of online media and online journalism. We will cover two broad questions:
- How to use online media for good journalism.
- How to support your news organization doing it.
Your instructor is Jonathan Stray, a freelance journalist who has contributed to the New York Times, Foreign Policy, and Wired.com, who also has over a decade of experience as a silicon valley computer scientist.
