Diane began teaching for the JMSC in August of 2008
Diane was part of the JMSC’s first Master of Journalism class.
During her time at the JMSC, Diane helped lead the JMSC’s digital development.

In 2010, Diane and good friend Jonathan Sharp led a team in covering the International Media Conference.
In 2010, Diane began including live coverage of events into the curriculum.
It was common to see Diane with a plethora of gadgets including a coffee mug.
Diane has worked as a journalist in Asia since 1981
In late 1997 Diane established an internet and editorial consultancy.
Diane was known for her love of animals, having dogs, cats and hedgehogs as pets.
