Tom Wright is Asia Economics Editor at The Wall Street Journal. He is an editor and reporter with 20 years of experience at the highest levels of journalism, with a proven track record of taking complex political, economic and financial issues and turning them into engaging narratives. His team’s reporting on a US$6 billion Malaysian financial scandal won the 2016 Gerald Loeb Award for international reporting and was a Pulitzer finalist. He has conducted investigative projects, involving the use of government records and corporate financial statements. His experience also includes managing teams of reporters to create award-winning journalism.
