JMSC-admission-1415-ad300250The JMSC’s Master of Journalism program takes in between 60 and 70 students a year from a variety of countries and professional backgrounds, and is taught by a faculty of experienced journalists and media scholars. Many JMSC students have come from other professions and have taken the course to embark on new careers in journalism. Graduates have been hired by the world’s leading media organizations, including Bloomberg, CNN, and the Wall Street Journal.

The school’s teaching philosophy reflects the needs of both traditional journalism and today’s changing media landscape, preparing students to practice accurate, honest and high-quality journalism on any and all media platforms. The program also offers specializations in business and finance journalism, reporting on China, and health, science and environment journalism.

The application deadline for the 2014-2015 academic year is January 31, 2014.
