ABC on Campus — A 2009-2010 Teaching Development Grant made possible an international project in cooperation with the American Broadcasting Company’s ABC News.

Since November 2009, students with strong skills in video journalism have carried out field trips and reported for ABC News; their work appearing on line and on air in North America. View the results here.

Vox Asia — Students put skills developed in entry-level on-line courses (JMSC 6091 for MJs and 0007 for BJs) to run a professional news and features service (second semester). In addition to producing multiple-media packages, they are required to compete head-on with professional news organisations and report breaking news live on at least one occasion.
