The organisers of the first overnight science camp to be held in a Hong Kong museum wasted no time in getting their school student charges to think — and to engage in a bout of teamwork.
The Ice Breaker Challenge, the first event of the evening on both nightcamps in the Science Museum, set school against school and required teams to work together to build a tower from dried spaghetti, string and tape, topped by a single marshmallow.
The highest intact structure won the competition.
“My favourite was the ice breaker game, ” said Lesley Lai Chui-ping, 18, a form 7 student at Holy Trinity College.

The Winners: St Paul’s Secondary School won the first challenge and the team from the Helen Liang Memorial Secondary School took battle honours on the second.
