Cheung Kong Holdings is the largest shareholder of Hutchison Whampoa Limited with a 49.9% interest. The core business of Hutchison includes: ports and related services; telecommunications; property and hotels; retail and manufacturing; and energy and infrastructure.


Stanley Ho

He is also the Director of Shun Tak Shipping Company, Limited and chairman of the publicly-listed Melco International Development Limited. Victor Fung Kwok King

Brother of William Fung Kwok Lun. He holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Doctorate in Business Economics from Harvard university. He is currently Chairman of the Hong Kong Airport Authority and the Hong Kong University Council. He introduced the "Double Y" bridge proposal which links Hong Kong, Macao, Zhuhai and Shengzhen together.

One of the group's major businesses is managing the supply chain for high-volume, time-sensitive consumer goods. Good transportation network is essential for the company's development. He believes that building a bridge will benefit Hong Kong.



HONG KONG

Tung Chee Hwa,

Chief Executive, Hong Kong SAR

He stated that the Government would support any infrastructure that would benefit the transportation network between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta.

Jack So Chak-kwong, Chairman and Chief Executive, MTR Corporation. Head of the Hong Kong subway transit system has expressed interest in extending money-losing Airport Express train line over bridge to Macao.

Hong Kong Midstream Operators Association, formed on January 19, 1999 , aims to actively promote the development of midstream operations by transferring cargo ship-to-ships for distribution.
