In Hong Kong where change and commotion characterize daily life, the Dai Pai Dong has been an odd point of stability throughout the years. A Dai Pai Dong is known for its iconic green steel roof, open air kitchen and plastic tables. Their reasonably priced traditional dishes draw customers from all walks of life, from bankers to street cleaners.
