Mahmoud, Pakistani, 33 years old
Despite having lived in Hong Kong for 10 years, mobile phone shop owner Mahmoud is never a registered voter. “I have never received any application form,” he said. “No one has ever told me how to register.”
Like Fayaz, Mahmoud said he never paid attention to who the candidates are.
“This is Hong Kong and everyone is busy,” he said. “Me and my friends have no time to talk about politics.”
