Mohammad Fayaz, Pakistani, has lived in Hong Kong for 16
years
Mohammad, owner of a small trading company,
said he has no idea who the candidates are, but plans to vote for a Chinese.
“Only Chinese people can help us,” the
38-year-old said. “Afterall, Hong Kong is their country, minority people can’t
help much.”
He said Pakistanis in general are not
interested in local politics. By turning up to vote, he is just trying to
exercise his right as a registered voter.
