Banners along Nathan Road

They are not foreigners.

Ever since the opening of Hong Kong in 1842, they have been living with us. Some might have lived in Hong Kong before you were born, and some speak better Cantonese than you do.

They are the ethnic minorities.

In the upcoming district council elections, Tsim Sha Tsui East will be an area of focus. Among some 7200 voters, around 20 percent, or 1500, are non-Chinese. How do they view the elections? Who will they vote for?

TST East is an especially competitive constituency. Seven candidates are eying on one single seat. And among the seven, three are Indians. How do Chinese and Non-Chinese candidates see their prospects?

We went inside Chungking Mansion to find out more.
