Walking in Central is somehow like wandering through a forest of banks. The symbolic

buildings of HSBC and Bank of China (BOC) , a “migrant” from Mainland China, are “must-see” to many tourists. Legend goes that the knife-shaped BOC building and the cannon on the top of HSBC, are in vigil towards each other day and night to protect their own businesses.

Yet there are more to see: IFC, Bank of America , Standard & Chartered Bank, American International Group Morgan Stanley , Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) ...

As a financial center, Hong Kong is a land where financial institutions, from local, overseas and Mainland, are vying to find a place to stand - "This land is mine"...
