Audio in HKStories
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Some people have reported that some of their audio files are working and some are not. To avoid problems with your audio file, when you encode your MP3 audio clips in Audacity make sure the files are encoded at 11.025 kHz, 22.050 kHz or 44.100 kHz.
The best thing to do is to go into “Preferences,” in Audacity, click on the “Quality” section, then set the “default sample rate” to 44100hz.
You will upload your audio through the “Insert/edit embedded media” icon, then embed the link manually so that it will automatically appear within an audio player. That’s what I did to create this post:

So here’s what you do.
- First upload the mp3 file via the “insert/edit media” icon which looks like this:
. The upload process is the same as uploading photos. - After you upload the mp3 file it will appear in the middle column of the upload window. Click on it, then the URL of that file will appear in the “file” box under “General”. Highlight and copy that URL. THEN CLICK “CANCEL.”

* After you have copied the URL and clicked “Cancel” in the screen above, you will be back in your edit area. Paste the URL of the mp3 in the place where you would like the audio player to appear. Then type {audio} and {/audio} on either side of the URL, like this:

In other words, you use {audio}URL{/audio} to embed an mp3 file. Make sure that the URL you are pasting has “mp3″ on the end.
Save the document, and you’re done!
