Dr. Cheung Kwai-yeung has a PhD in media history from HKU and has taught in the journalism department at Chinese University. He is the author of Media Winds (2006), Jin Yong and Ming Pao Daily Legend (2005), Outstanding Chinese Series (2001), Jin Yong and the Press (2000) The First 100 Years of the Chinese Club (1997) Understanding Chinese Newspaper in Hong Kong (1988) and Hong Kong Journalists at Work (1990, 1984).
A veteran Hong Kong journalist, Dr. Cheung has worked at Ming Pao Daily as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and editorial writer, TVB News as managing editor, deputy general manager and chief editor of Chinese Television Network, a 24-hour news satellite TV channel and News Head (Chinese) of RTHK. He is currently head of training and development unit at RTHK.
