Hi,
Here is some information about me.
I am a radio producer and reporter who worked for the BBC for twelve years in London. I moved to Hong Kong in June 2009. Since then I have been teaching BJs and MJs at the JMSC and also reporting from Hong Kong for the BBC World Service. I have also written features for Muse Magazine and the SCMP.
During my time working for the BBC, I made a wide range of radio programmes from news and current affairs based programmes to documentaries and Arts programmes. I travelled all over the world with my job and also trained radio reporters for the BBC in Afghanistan, Sudan, Somalia and Nigeria. I love my job and hope I can share some of my enthusiasm and knowledge with you.
Even if you don’t become a radio reporter, newsreader or producer, this course will provide you with valuable skills you can use in other jobs. It will help you learn good interview techniques, digital editing, how to structure an arguement, improve your writing and give you confidence to stand up and talk in public.
If you ever have any questions please feel free to e-mail me – try angharad.law@gmail.com and I hope to be able to help. I am usually available to meet up if needs be.
Good luck and enjoy the course!
Angharad
