Quizzes
There will be two quizzes:
The quizzes will cover readings and lectures for those designated classes. Each quiz will consist of 10-12 questions (multiple choice, true/false, short answer, etc) and will be conducted at the beginning of class. Please make sure you are on time(!).
The first quiz will be held on Monday, October 11. The topics for the first quiz will include those covered in the fist five classes, including legal systems, freedom of expression, business of journalism, legal reporting and privacy/obscenity.
The second quiz will be on Monday, November 22. It will cover defamation, access to information, official secrets and protecting sources. If we finish the copyright lecture, then it will cover that as well.
