Welcome to the course website for JMSC0019 Media Law and Ethics at the Journalism and Media Studies Centre, the University of Hong Kong. This course examines the ethical and legal issues affecting journalism and journalists in Hong Kong and beyond. We cover such topics as press freedom, defamation, privacy, information access, ethical standard and newsgathering techniques.
