Dear class,
We will be using this site to report on health issues for the duration of the course ( though hopefully some of you will be inspired enough to keep contributing stories and comments even after the course ends !)
As I will explain in class on Monday, each one of you will be choosing an area of health that interests you ( ie. avian influenza, cancer, heart disease etc) and posting weekly stories and comments on interesting developments in your area. You will need to post at least one story a week. You are also strongly encouraged to comment on your colleagues’ stories, since one of the nice things about a blog like this is receiving comments from readers
The right to post and comment to the site is for the present restricted to those enrolled in the class.
I am enrolling all those who have signed up for the course so far as users, and you will all receive e mails from the system assigning you temporary passwords. Once you sign in, you can change your user name and password.
