Matthew Chew

Matthew Chew teaches at the Department of Sociology of Hong Kong Baptist University.  His research interests include cultural sociology, globalization, popular culture, new media, urban studies, and social theory.  His works deal with a wide spectrum of empirical materials ranging from early modern universities to contemporary online computer games.
