Jiang Min

jiang-min.pngJiang Min joined the Department of Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as an Assistant Professor in 2007. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the area of mass communication, new media, and international communication. Jiang received her Ph.D. in Communication in 2007 from Purdue University. Her research interests include online civic and political participation in international contexts, global media and hybrid identities, as well as qualitative methods both online and offline. She has received top paper awards at national communication conferences and participated in 2006 National Communication Association’s Doctoral Honors Seminar. Prior to pursuing her doctor’s degree in the U.S., Jiang worked in various media industries in her native country China.
