We are production company based in Los Angeles that needs to book a professional cameraman that is fluent in English on July 11-13 for a casino sponsored event in Macau. Please own your own HD or HDV camera with professional sound (lavalier) and LED light. The camera can be HVX200, EX1 or 3, XH-A1, or any other camera that can achieve 1080 @ 60i (XDCam or DVCam/DVC Pro or HD CAM). Please no 24P or 24F. We will discuss delivery and specifics after you are booked. We may need beta dupes. Please be familiar with all aspects of the camera: light temperature, framing, filters, wireless microphones, LED lights, etc… We require a professional with broadcast experience who can handle high stress situations and excels under pressure. the Opportunity:

the Positions:
News Assistant:
Responsible for translating a targeted group of Chinese News wires from Chinese (traditional characters) to English. We are looking initially for headline and summary transations only.

Will also be responsible for helping organize and prepare daily market updates to be aired on the news channel back home.

Video Journalists:
Video journalists would be responsible for conducting and filming interviews. The only solid experience this requires is a keen interest in business, an outgoing personality and professional demeanor. 

the Hours:
As this is a start up, the work can be done by full-timers or several part timers. At a minimum, you would need to commit to 4 hours per day, 5 days a week.

Hong Kong Economic Times is recruiting journalism students as the freelancers for her publication English Street. English Street is published three days a week and is read by secondary students who age from 12 to 18. It is sold at many secondary schools across the territory.
