Business and financial news is one of the fastest growing segments of journalism, and this is especially true in Asia. At the same time, rapid globalization is changing the way journalists cover business and financial affairs, not least because the nature of business and finance is changing around us due to global integration and competition.

With the dramatic economic rise of China on the world stage, and new emergent players such as Myanmar, there's never been a more exciting time to be a financial journalist in Asia – and there have never been as many opportunities for journalists with business & financial reporting skills.
