DreamCatchers 100K launched to support young entrepreneurs

The JMSC is one of the four organisers of the inaugural DreamCatchers 100K entrepreneurship seed funding initiative.

DreamCatchers 100K is an entrepreneurship seed fund from The University of Hong Kong aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs to kick-start their businesses.

Each winning team will be awarded $100K in grants and receive mentorship from relevant experts, with workshops and networking opportunities also included in the programme.

Applications from all areas—including business, technology, the media, social and cultural sectors―are welcomed.

The deadline for applications is 18 March. Selected participants will then be invited to give a five-minute pitch and shortlisted teams will be assigned mentors. Final presentations will be held in August.

Each team should include at least one HKU student or recent graduate of HKU (graduated after 2012).
