About the speaker: As commentator for China Central Television’s “News 1+1” program and the host of its “News Week” program, Bai Yansong is a a noted broadcaster, known for his piercing insight into current affairs. A graduate of the Communication University of China, Bai has been with CCTV since 1993, when he got his start on the network’s “Oriental Horizon,”  CCTV’s pionneering  current affairs programme. He was born in Inner Mongolia in 1968.

講者簡介： 白岩松，內地著名傳媒人，中央電視臺《新聞1+1》節目評論員、《新聞週刊》節目主持人。他1968年出生於內蒙古，1989年畢業於北京廣播學院新聞系，1993年初進入中央電視臺《東方時空》，任中央電視臺新聞評論部主持人至今。白岩松勤於思考，主持風格獨特；他熱心公益，是聯合國減災行動在大陸首位形象大使。
