May 20: Screening – MJ Short Documentaries

Four of the documentaries made in Visiting Associate Professor, Nancy Tong‘s Documentary Video Production Class will be screened on Friday, May 20, 2011.

Tong’s class of 15 students all produced a documentary as a final project.

The four short films chosen for screening cover several subjects drawn from life in Hong Kong. They include the lives of inhabitants of an almost abandoned village near Shenzhen, the victims of the Lehman Brothers’ bankruptcy who protest outside Citibank, an African asylum seeker living in Chungking Mansions, and a vegetable vendor in Central.
