Barry Kalb, lecturer in journalism at the University of Hong Kong’s Journalism and Media Studies Centre, and author of the highly regarded handbook You Can Write Better English, will discuss the errors that native Chinese speakers routinely make when writing English, how these errors should be corrected, and why good written English is essential in today’s globalized world.
