JMSC’s Focus Asia Business Leaders series airs on ATV World

Four episodes of the Focus Asia Business Leaders series produced by The University of Hong Kong’s Journalism and Media Studies Centre will air on prime time starting Oct 2 for four consecutive Fridays on ATV World.

The series offer half-hour episodes showcasing profiles of prominent Asian business leaders.

The four profiles to be aired include India’s wealthiest woman and the head of Biocon, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, the CEO of Taiwanese smart phone company HTC, Peter Chou, the Chairman of ASUSTeK, Jonney Shih, and Chief Executive of Wildlife Reserves Singapore, Fanny Lai, who oversees the Singapore Zoo.

Focus Asia Business Leaders series is directed and produced by veteran broadcaster and Emmy Award-winning producer Jim Laurie, formerly of ABC News.

Laurie teaches at the University and is Director of the Broadcasting Programme at its Journalism and Media Studies Centre.

Past episodes aired in late 2008 on ATV include profiles of Vincent Lo of Shui On Group, Viveca Chan of WE Worldwide Partners, Sir C.K. Chow of the MTR Corporation, Liu Changle of Phoenix Satellite Television, Tong Zhicheng of Guangzhou’s Pearl River Piano Group, and Lawrence Fung of the Hong Kong Economic Times Group.
